I am also Palestinian and I felt so much disappointment that Sara hasn't spoken on Palestine at all but was willing to do a commission of harris' portrait. I despise trump but this was incredibly disappointing to see politics matter only so far as domestic issues while remaining silent on foreign policy.

I also got relatively large amount of commision money doing Gouache Portraits for fans of Rodrigo Duterte and a fan of Mar Roxas when the 2016 Philippines Presidential Election happened. Like It was too large for me at the time. About 400 USD for Duterte and 600 USD for Mar Roxas. Now I don't do too much Realistic portrait. I like cartoons more ahaha But If I was going to do people portraits of candidates again, I'd go for both sides double money for essentially 3 day work.

I'm a big believer in "all art is political", no matter the subject or the material. (You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you, type of vibe haha). I feel like even if you did like Trump for president 4 years ago he's really deteriorated and is focused solely on racism and xenophobia. It just doesn't give me any sort of hope or direction for the country other than being fearful and hateful towards people that are different. It doesn't move us forward at all and I'm sad for people that like him cuz I feel like it's all fear-based devotion. That’s what happens when the person running was not elected to do so and has no platform to stand on, in addition to not understanding public policy. Hence why she talks in circles, needs teleprompters, and earbuds. Paying for endorsements and misrepresenting her opposition are her primary strategies for winning rather than her own merit. She has also abused the justice system to portray Trump as a felon while people conveniently forget how rich Kamala is and democrats (cough Clinton) are absolute criminals. Happy for this artists’ success but this is the campaign stray by the democrats is bereft of integrity and takes advantage of Americans greatly. Hoping we make this year together big to rig as the voter fraud by people who are not citizens is how they will refuse people their right to participate in US politics.

Your work is beautiful. It’s not right for people to send hateful threats or anything of that matter based on who you’re voting on. But since you mentioned how you’re big on research, I really recommend following the Candace Owen’s series based on Kamala’s background and the series of untruthfulness that follows her family backgrounds. We all have our opinions, which I accept completely. But not being able to trust our president is really scary. Like i’ve heard once before, If American was threatened in anyway shape or form how can we trust Kamala on her words? And how can we trust that she’ll keep us safe? How can we trust whether or not she’d choose to run away when something big happens and throw us under the bus? As much as a lot of women and or people want a female president, I don’t personally think she’s the right fit for that. Since she’s untruthful about her background, she dodges every interview questions that are serious topics, she disrespects the christian community, and she changes her whole personality based on whose votes she needs the most. It’s scary.

A woman she posted a picture of in her book claiming to be her grandmother turned out to be the help from her rich slave owning family. Imagine how devoid of a moral compass and any demeaning qualities to actually be willing to lie about the help being your grandma just to further your political career? It wouldn’t be the first time a politician has lied about something to make their “resume” look better. That’s why I voted for Trump because he was never a politician, just a business man who loved his country. Everyone loved Trump before he ran for president. I’ve seen countless interviews and videos online before he ran of people loving and praising him but when we finally get a non politician in government, a much needed change in my opinion seeing how corrupt politicians and our government can be, people start raging about it.
