Grateful for you! 🙏 I am a beginner watercolor addict 😂🤣 and seriously struggle with the being “brave “ part, putting paint to paper 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I have been learning so much from you, and not just the painting, I really enjoy your talks and advice, and also that you stay “Real”, it really helps when you show when you make an ooops, and show how you can still work everything out. Thank you for showing how to use Blooms brush, it is a wonderful, beautiful brush, but like you said, it’s intimidating 🤷‍♀️🤣. On a side note: I received a beautiful envelope yesterday, only to open it and find BEAUTIFUL prints, signed and my first stickers for my sketch books( guess I have to be brave and actually start using them🤷‍♀️🤣😂) I honestly love the prints and have put a smile on my face thinking about them since, AND they have inspired me to attempt loose floral again ❤ thank you for you 🙏❤️

Hi Jessica! Do you know that you made my entire day today?! I literally have goosebumps reading your message. I am so glad that you like the self-care/mental health talks. Because I am a mental health therapist, I cannot paint without talking about those things. My heart’s main goal is to encourage people to paint without anxiety and of course the one way to do that is being brave. Embracing the imperfection and chalking up all painting sessions as learning and experience for improvement! Thank you so much for your support on Patreon and I’m so happy that you love the art prints! And yes, please crack open the sketchbooks. There’s only one way to start!

Thank you for your sweet comment! Yes, I just started showing my reference books because I love them so much. They bring a confidence and whimsy when I paint. I really love taking reference photos as well and my phone is always full of them. There’s so much beauty and inspiration everywhere! Thank you for being here.

Love this! The purple are my fave! Side note, did you mean “Jenna” instead of “Jenny” in the title? Yeah I’m that pedantic person haha ❤

@@TammykayeAlso I love the bravery discussion, so encouraging. I’m remembering right now that bravery and anxiety aren’t mutually exclusive either. Emotions are so wonk lol.

I’m so glad you appreciated the talk on bravery! It is so hard to be brave in a world that wants to make us feel like we have to be perfect. That’s when we need to take a deep breath, reminder selves that we are becoming brave, and baby steps!

That handle on the blooms brush is too long, it is a handle you see on acrylic and oil brushes. I don't know why Jenna put such a long handle on her brush consdidering her main audience are watercolour enthusiasts. Lately, I have been learning to draw animals. I love landscapes and trees so I eventually want to paint woodland scenes with animals, mushrooms and insects etc.

The handle is extremely long! Although I love the brush, I felt pretty confused by it. I love your aspirations, painting woodland animals and scenes etc!
