Painting Miniatures with Musou Black - The Blackest Black

I painted a Wizkids shadow mini with Black 2.0, it got kind of chalky but it hasn't flacked off like I was expecting it to when it first dried

For a similar, but more mini friendly effect, you can also use Green stuff world's maxx darth, its basically a super dark matt black, but can be applied to minis (a bit more durable)

I have a bottle of Black 3.0 and only use it for fine highlights in areas that won't be touched or rubbed against anything else such as skeleton eye sockets, bottom of well and pit terrain pieces, inside the mouths of one gibbering mouther.

Any chance it would work in a air brush? Figured such a dark color could make for a decent zenithal.

People have said that they got it to work in an airbrush. I would suggest googling it a lot before you invest money in a bottle.

This is a fun review. I'm not surprised that you consider the price not worth it. I know miniature paints would probably be better for painting my miniatures. But I can get decent results with craft paints. I am too casual of a mini painter to justify the cost of better paints. I might get some washes though.
