I went to Five Below and found some cheap things to customize & paint on, specifically mystery squishmallows. While squishmallow hunting I picked up some mystery bags so I actually didn't know which squishmallows I'd be working with. I like customizing things and turning them EVIL, it's kind of my thing. In fact I have quite a few series where I do some cheap diys that end up looking pretty chaotic. Other makeover series that I do include anything & everything with Squishmallows, Five Below makeovers, Painting on Fidget Toys, Needle Felting, etc. I hope you like what I made!

Check out Mariah Elizabeth’s most recent video! She is using *fabric* hot glue & *felt* to customize a squishmellow type creature!! Wonder where she may have been inspired from?🤔🤔 Wish she had credited you if so. -Love your creations in this video. I do wish you would learn a few basic stitches of sewing. Just to broaden your options when it comes to adding certain things which wouldn’t look quite right or simply aren’t possible with fabric hot glue.

I was stating to think I'd missed all 3 but I did see them all! Even tried to trick me with the taco and mouse! But I found them! Although you haven't yet learnt to sew, I think it would be so funny for you to try one of those sew kits for beginners and keep all the footage. All us sparklebutts would have a love hate vibe going on 😂😂

I also do a lot of “faux sew” when I remake clothes, but I really like the aesthetic of big, statement stitching… So sometimes I also glue fabric on fabric and then add some big punk stitches with large threads (or dental floss if it’s a punk-related item, like crust pants or my battle vest)

I agree the "sheepcorn" came out the best, I absolutely LOVE it. (although I am pretty sure that was an alpaca/llama given the ears and tail) Reminds me of that hit indie game "Cult of the Lamb", seems like that game would be right up your ally with the creepy cute vibes

Nicely done Sir! I was taught how to sew on buttons by my father when I told him I was going into the military and he said I would be paying somebody to do it if I did not know how to sew! my Mom was a seamstress and made clothes for our family my whole life, but she was not a good teacher. My Dad cut right to, how to and I learned how to sew buttons, hem pants and sleeves and take patches off and sew new ones on! When I mentioned I thought sewing was for girls or women, he asked if I had ever heard of Tailors? You can earn a good living tailoring peoples clothes and many still do! I know how to sew and I even learned how to use a machine. NOT until after I was married though. Sew or don't, but if you want to do more professional looking work you should consider learning how. Keep those videos comin'!

Have you looked at the wonderful world of fabric pens? I feel they might help you in changing colors or adding markings that arn't dimensional like the felt and paint. I used the black from the brand marvy Uchida to clean up embroidery sometimes. Works amazing, dries pretty quickly and is washable afterwards. Idk I like your avoidance of sewing, as someone that made stuffed animals for a living, your creativity is fun.

I love how people love to tell other people how to do their art. Constructive criticism is one thing, but there is a big difference from 'Learn to sew' & 'I think the stitches would look cleaner if they were done with thread instead of puff paint'.
