Bought Arches Rough paper by mistake (was not acquainted with "rough", only aware of hot and cold press). Thanks for your informative video!

You prefer hot pressed if you like smooth paper. Cold pressed is rough. Hot pressed is heated and compressed and this seals the texture of the cotton fibres to a smooth finish.

I started using watercolors some months ago and recently I decided to buy a 60% cotton block (my first cotton experience 😂). I didn't pay attention and chose the rough textured one and since I tried it some days ago, I didn't touch it again. It's so hard to try to make not-blurry figures, but watching you now I'm thinking that maybe I should try to make something different from what I usually do. Thank you for share!
