Hey Guys! today I am doing a highly requested video of painting on seashells. I've been seeing these requests pop up a lot since I decorated seashells last summer for the first time. I guess we are doing this every summer then? 😂

This is a really fun and easy summer art project. It can also be really relaxing and perfect for anyone looking for a way to try art therapy. Decorating shells is so calming and therapeutic, especially if you dod the dots and patterns sort of style. Posca paint pens are perfect for that by the way!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 25 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating and painting videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try LOL).

Hi Moriah, I don't mean to offer unsolicited advice, but I noticed you referenced the colors looking "muddier" than you wanted, and I had the same problem for a while, I found instead of using a RBY color wheel for mixing, its better to use a MagentaCyanYellow color wheel as reference, it turned out Red wasn't a primary color, but red was actually composed of magenta and yellow, so to get a brighter purple, instead of adding red and blue, you would add magenta and cyan, this gives a much deeper and vivid purple.

It’s good to draft designs on a sketchbook first. Then if you like it, you put it on the final product. That way you like what you create. Otherwise you are using the final product as a draft and it’s hit or miss. Especially when it comes to new designs you haven’t tried yet. If you don’t want to incorporate it into your videos, you don’t have to. You can just do it beforehand as use as a guide, outside the view of filming. I chose to subscribe because I like your style of art. I also like the seashell painting. I like how you draw food onto art too. And make your own characters.
