Do you Matt varnish after, I’m doin these steps rn

I did use matt varnish on most of the model bar eyes and mouth. It was a spray on clear coat then I hit the eyes and mouth with paint on gloss. The matt varnish I used is still too gloss for me. I think the combo of home made and bought washes also added some gloss so I probably need to apply a heavier matt finish to bring all the shine down.

Despise im not a fan of the glazing on the orks "soft" tissue, i must admit this is a great tutorial. Keep the good work, everything was clear, the color scheme is awesome, and i absolutely adore the lenses.

Thank you very much! I'm not actually a fan of the grots shiney skin either, the matt varnish takes it down a little but I think it's because I'm using an ink based dip wash. I think I could give them a little dry brush post wash stage to tone this down a little more? Thank you for the kind words, I'm pleased you like the colours and the process is clear. More to come.
