Ive been painting for a few years now and just as constructive advice you dont really need to lower the pressure or anything but you need to move faster and also do a light coat first and let it flash and then go on heavier afterwards for a smooth paint job.

as everyone said, too much paint and not enough speed lets the paint build up to that orange peel finish. think of it like doing the primer 1st pass as super light, then heavier as you go along. focusing too much in one area will cause runs.

Move a lil faster and be consistent.consistency is key.en prep.. 90percent prep 10 percent spray

Move the gun a lot faster and apply very light coats. Thick coat in painting is not a thing.

Move and flow with the gun

Light coats, you guys were spraying way too much paint. Orange peal is the result of paint “sagging” when too much is applied. Couldn’t you turn down the amount coming out of the nozzle? You were also moving the gun too slowly and perhaps were too close to the surface as well. I'm looking forward to see the car after final prep and the graphics have been applied. Thanks for sharing.

Have to be four to six inches from surface to get a wetter coat to level out and have no orange peel or sand piling
