Cool idea to spray the whole fence with ground post protection coating.. I think it looks nice and seems like you were able to get through the application pretty quick.. (with a fence that long you def need to "get er done" as quickly as you can.. Does it seem like it will last a very long time against all the elements?

I have a very similar setup. I see the notes about it only lasting about a year. But.... there are way too many small areas that would take me forever with a brush or roller. As you know, this stuff is VERY thick. Did you use the suction filter that goes in the intake bucket? Seems like you'd want to remove that too.

I used the filter in the bucket, but removed the filter in the gun. I used a large tip and still had to think it a little. If you see some of my later videos I wound up paying a professional company to paint everything.

I used paint thinner and water, but I found I thinned it too much and it did not cover well

Apparently I thinned it out too mech because within 6 months the wood was starting to show through. The problem was that I was using a Home/DIY sprayer which was not strong enough to spray that thick paint. Lesson learned. I eventually had it professionally painted. They put it on thick and it looks great.

The reviews of this asphalt paint are not too good... lots of people complaining that it fades significantly after about one year. Have you noticed any fading? Will you need to reapply soon?

Yes, it faded pretty quickly. Within 6 months. I thought it was because I thinned it out to get it to work with my DIY sprayer. That probably was a contributing factor.
