Painting process of a bouquet in watercolor | Studio Vlog

Painting a bouquet takes an eye and practice. There are many ways around it - painting it exactly as you see or moving the elements around to create your own composition. Watch me plan and paint these florals starting with wet-in-wet and then moving to add details once the first layer has dried.

Great way to observe how you layered. Thank you. How much of the paint is a mix of inks and regular watercolors? I find inks are so staining any mark I make is hard to soften.

Inks are incredibly staining! Glad u observed the layering! I usually have just a small dab of ink to paint. Or I use only inks. Usually if I use inks it will be pretty diluted as a first layer and then the layers over are regular paint in case I need to soften marks
