Hi Tom I have spent some hours endeavouring to find some decent practical and practice videos/demonstrations and yours are fantastic and pragmatic. I think someone else said that they are so helpful and not pretentious. I noted that you have a bundle of other brushes and in particular you are using a water color palette that is name after "John Pike" who I now see was an inspired /seminal American artist. ( I found his family website) Did you download the brushes from Escape Motions as I was following along with my new app and noted that I did not have some of the brushes plus of course the colours were not available. Shame you speed up the video and then I found your website where you have a further selection but alas still speeded up in places but I have just started my 2nd Gallovich video on different paper combos again great help to me as a beginner. I hope you do more of this type of informative video.

Hello Nigel, Tom has most likely customized or created his own brushes inspired by other artists. To more than 170+ brushes already included in Rebelle, you can search for free brushes and color sets uploaded by other Rebelle users. All is available for download here: www.escapemotions.com/products/rebelle/brushes.php

Hello Jason! We are glad the video was helpful! There is several options how to create new color palettes in Rebelle: from image file, from last used colors, or from a text file. Here is a demonstration that might be helpful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJTVc42Grb6HbM0

Is there a way to invert the mask?
@TheArtofTomGallovich3 жыл бұрын
Jesse try this, select the mask with the Magic Wand and then go to EDIT > INVERT SELECTION. You will have the opposite of the mask.

@@TheArtofTomGallovich my experience is that this just changes the color of the mask and doesn’t invert the mask

@@jessemorgan2009 Changes the color of the mask? I may not be sure what you mean by inverting the mask?. If you make your Mask a selection area with the magic wand and then go to EDIT > INVERT SELECTION the opposite area of your original mask would then be selected. This you could do if you want to create another Mask outside your original Mask area. Try here at 10:20 then you could go to EDIT > INVERT SELECTION. If you want to work with in the Mask area then you can select the Mask with the Magic Wand and then turn off the "MASK" layer in the Layers panel. This would allow you to only work within the Mask area.
