Mark pywell Dude right? It’s been like 6 or 7 years since I had gotten rid of models and I can’t believe I never thought to look on KZbin. So many cool tips and techniques. Definitely inspired to pick up a small kit and try some of this out:)

A really easy way to pop air bubbles in resin is to use a lighter, running the flame near the surface. The rapid heat causes the air bubble to expand rupturing the bubble. Ive also seen people use hair driers/heat guns.

Found myself talking to the screen several times of how cool this basing is! Two thumbs & two big toes up! Agree with Ash, on the great attitude I see expressed throughout this craft - people enjoying each other’s victories - it’s very refreshing! Well done!

Okay, so I've never been tempted to buy a Woodland Scenics Rock Mold for rocks, but having seen how the resin "ice" turned out I'm definitely going to pick up one now; when it had been demolded and was sitting on your desk, it *really* did look like a chunk of ice. Love the way this miniature turned out; it absolutely conveys a sense that there's some sort of narrative going on. The other dead Space Marine under the ice was a nice touch.

Terrain builders everywhere are probably crapping themselves at those results watching you just experiment and get a best-in-class ice effect

Came to back to this to refresh my memory while i work on my own haldor and it reminds me… ive literally always hated that axe and could never figure out why, but you make it one of the coolest axes ive seen even with your “rushed” paintjob on it. Incredible

Not sure what you are doing differently in this video, but I love it. I already liked your videos, but this one seems to show a lot more of the why you do something instead of just what you do. With where I am with my painting I believe this helps me a lot. Thank you.

After having watched this channel for a few years, I can honestly say that this is my favorite piece! I think with the channel expanded now, it would be incredible if you and Lukas did a full Ice/Fenris diorama that has Space Wolves maybe charging some Thousand Sons Rubric Marines! You could utilize some of the stuff you used here as well as adding more effects! It tell an amazing story and would be a fantastic video! Much love from a Space Wolf in Minnesota

Small piece of advice for those who don't happen to have rock moulds - just use aluminium foil. Grease it with vaseline or oil, form the chunk of ice you need, fill with UV resin and use a torch, works like a charm plus every piece of ice will be truly unique :)
