Hi :) I see you used wet on wet technique, so how did everything not bleed through? for example when painting the house.. Was the paper dry at that point?

3:40 I tried that and my paper is not wavy anymore TYSM for this technique ❤️ i also use vellium board which is cheap (24 Pesos/0.48 Dollar cents) 10 pieces each... Is the vellium board a good paper for watercolor?

Last week I was painting realistic stuff (6 months in? Yeah, since Christmas 2020!). Now I'm a little obsessed trying to get this ghibli scene in watercolor! I finally got _something_ (thank you!) but my sea water is like, electric phthalo blue (no "peace" in this ghibli)! 😨😂 I'm keeping this latest one though; one day perhaps I'll laugh about the electric bright "light blue" horizon line. My clouds are okay! House and tree, island... eh, okay. But ALL are overshadowed by this (sennelier cinereous blue) blue sea because I was hyper-focused on getting that freakin horizon line straight. #SoMuchFun I don't know why I'm obsessed with doing this painting! It's lovely! DANG! I want to hang it! But back to painting panthers for me. -I had the paints you listed, too! Ruby Red is my jam! I just couldn't get the cobalt blue separated from the "purple" and I was so tempted to start using a heat tool! Maybe if I work on bigger paper and mask out the ....no, my mind can't translate this awesome style. In one attempt, it looked like my house was on fire 😂

How do you like the Royal Blue? I know @Andrew Geeson uses it all the time and I’ve been wanting to try it. Is it very opaque? I mixed my own using blues mixed with white watercolor (not gouache) and tonally it’s fine but it’s very opaque.
