Finished my interior painting, the headliner and all parts turned out fantastic. I was amazed how well that paint matches the OEM panels. I am very pleased how it turned out. Thanks for the tut video on how to do this. PS.. i didn't know about the rear clips on the headliner, had to re-glue one back on, one of the tabs just wouldn't come off, but i ended up fixing it.

5luggin I just did it in my type s and I wouldn’t say claustrophobic it’s more of a comfy feeling. Camaros would make you feel claustrophobic but you have plenty of space in the RSX interior

My headliner is starting to sag/peel in front of the visors. Also the fabric on the sunroof shade is toast! I was thinking of just peeling off the rest of the fabric and painting the shell. Is that a stupid idea? I figured there’s something I’m just not thinking about because I haven’t found anyone who’s done it that way.

The smell is too strong, I guess my nose is too sensitive to the paint. Took it off and get OEM part. I can't get rid of the smell 😭

Great vid bro, I'm thinking of doing this to my 07 eclipse but my interior is so in tact that I'm thinking of just spraying the headliner and 4 pillars without taking anything apart and just taping everything off, do you think it could be done?

Can try it , I think it’s possible. You will probably need a really good mask , like a painting booth mask and with goggles . And definitely cover anything you don’t want paint on . Even the seats .

Your welcome. That was going to be too much work trading it back to some fuse box . Take pictures or video. If you feel you won’t remember . Putting it back together will be the easy part 👌

Honestly I don’t know . I havnt put any of my pieces back , i won’t be reinstalling them for a while . just make sure to clean all your plastic pieces with wax and grease remover .

@@Deemossi Yeah the mirror plastic piece i forgot to clean, and it looked like shit right when the 1st coat started. I stopped and took it in the house and cleaned it up, 2nd try went much better... them little pieces are easy to forget. OH.. and wiring the new foot well LED's in was pretty easy once i found where i needed to connect the wires.

Ariaz it’s been a year , no fades and it feels fine. I let it dry for a week and then installed it back in. I honestly never touch my headliner , so it’s longevity won’t be an issue

it felt normal when I did mine . You need to really clean your vinyl parts , prep work is really important. your plastic parts have armor all and all these chemicals from when u clean your car. You always have to degrease them and before you paint. U have to use wax and grease removal . prep is key for it to come out perfect

Nope, I let them sit and dry for a few weeks, while I worked on my car. I’m sure one day is not enough time to fully dry. Give it a week.

Yes it smells for about 7 days so leave outside on open air then install.
