Do you use a wet brush or dry? The colors seem very prominent, like if it were a dry brush. Also, I am almost done with my painting, but I can't seem to get the clouds right. I have to keep removing them with water and a damp cloth and trying again.

Great question! It's admittedly a rather unconventional choice but I love using these woodless colored pencils. www.amazon.ca/Koh-I-Noor-Woodless-Colored-Pencil-Sets/dp/B0006NI93G/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=woodless+colored+pencils&qid=1620608230&sr=8-5 They very rarely dilute pigment and don't leave dramatic markings provided you use a relatively soft amount of pressure.
