Already there from the production quality - other than the AI pronouncing some words weird ha. I don’t know how I feel about the AI voice overs, they aren’t bad and mostly great sounding. I guess I’m torn still though, the end of actual humans talking over videos. 😂

it really works well for this legion. WB offer a very unique opportunity with transfers vs the other legions which tend to be more formal. You can really get creative with WB

I've seen some cool rust and weathering effects done by doing the powders before touching them with a brush loaded with mineral spirits and letting the capillary action move the powders around a bit.

There is a lot of stuff you can do with powders and oils. Lot of guys gloss coat their models and then drag their oils for dramatic streaking. I tend to go lighter on my weathering. Deathguard and Militia i usually go heavier.

Absolutely gorgeous paint job. The Sicaran is my favorite vehicle for Space Marines, to the point that I still use it for my 40k army. I'm really hoping you do a Destroyer Squad at some point. Maybe as Blackshields or loyalist traitors in pre-primarch colors (i.e. Luna Wolves or Dusk Raiders)

That template trick for the scripture transfers is genius. Have you tried any of the Vallejo Metal Color line? The various silvers are so much better than GW's metallics. They come pre-thinned for airbrush, but also work perfectly when brushed.

Iron warriors are not too bad. Its funny because they are super fast and easy to paint, until you get to the hazard stripes. then they average out to similar time as the other legions.

This is top notch quality video, good job! Wait, what did you do with the citadel air paint? 10 drops directly in the bottle and that’s it? I struggle a lot with diluting them, while I had no problems with other paints

Yeah man. I put 10 drops straight in the pot and shook it up. You can add more thinner if necessary. You want to get the paint to the consistency of vallejo air. Its much thicker from the pot than the other air paints on the market. It is possible to shoot it straight out of the pot, but you will have to clean your brush more often.

AI VO allows me to release these videos at a cadence that would be impossible if i had to record and mix my own VO. Recording myself also introduces having to focus on performance which is its own can of worms. Dont think my voice would be much added value in these videos either. Actual voice will be in the live action content like Battle reports.

I have a troop / tank painting tutorial on them on the slate. Basically, chaos black spray, lead beltcher spray, airbrush silver highlight, then airbrush contrast paint, then paint them as normal. I have to do a small allied detachment of them for the Siege of Cthonia - both to use on the table top but also to use in the cut scenes.
