There’s a softness to the painting as if the brush has lightly flitted over the paper with a gentle trail of colour. It’s so perfect!

you taught every single thing you could think of that might help someone. THANK YOU! It is so appreciated. And I now realize I need a larger flat brush.

Absolutely beautiful. For goodness' sake, two strokes of the brush and he produces the most beautiful wave! I would be messing around with that for ages and just produce a complete mess. Mesmerising to watch and such a lovely, easy-to-listen-to voice too.

I have watched this so many times. I just love the way you make the water look realistic, with what seems to be very little effort. Even the sky and sand look wonderful. One day, I might paint like this.

Grant, there is so much information packed into this tutorial! I would have used a #3 or #4 round to do the water, but you achieved so much with the flat. Then the sand is amazing. Must get my flats out and experiment! Thank you for this.

Love your seascape video. The sharp point brushwork was freaky. I have only started with oils and don't think oil could do that sea foam line as quickly or as crisp as that but others will say it can I'm sure. The layers in the wet sand and rock reflections were great!@ Thanks for the inspiration.
