Sad lives people have if all they can do is be critical of others - ignore them. Be true to yourself. You do you. We love watching what and how you things.

Love your channel and the way you talk while you paint. I am so fed up with people telling others how to live. Be yourself, that’s why we watch you! Use whatever supplies you want. Taping the edges does make it look better. I don’t care what tape you use!
@DianeAntoneStudio8 сағат бұрын
Thank you so much Stacy!! as I said to somebody else, I use whatever I’m given! I try not to buy things unnecessarily so if I have a bunch of washi tape, I will use it! When it’s gone, it’s gone! Thanks so much for your kind words. I’m so glad you enjoy the channel and I couldn’t agree more. We are who we are❤️!

Oh my goodness I agree. What is it with people who feel that everyone needs to be shamed/corrected/told off about any or every-thing that they choose to go off on!!!! Ugh. I'm thankful for you, Diane, and for the way you share your skills (with or without all the tape of any kind you choose!!! ) ❤

Hi Diane I agree with Stacey too as soon as I hear your voice while I'm skimming through the channels I stop right away and I don't think it's your accent cause there's a few I watch with your accent it's just you the way you are your style the way you just have a lovely care free kind of attitude that I like ...not too mention I love your work it's not overwhelming or demanding you always encourage in anything just do wat you like but you guide us ... love it love you keep on with the channel cause we all love you and your work ...💗💗💗💗

Love the colours. Love your calming voice about life. Love your videos overall❤❤. Love borders to enhance the look of pieces. I know we all have the right to speak our minds, but really, what happened to " if you can't say something nice, dont say anything at all" You are an inspiration 🎉

Hi Diane! I'm hoping your headache and neck pain and stress get better soon, and working on the easel helps! More chocolate needed?? I love watching the magic of the paint move in the water and the effect you get with it. I love Kuretake paint and Washi tape, which I learned about from you. Washi also comes in handy in a greeting card, when I enclose something, because I don't want the item to fall out when the receiver opens the card.... so thank you for telling me about it and Kuretake paint (I love!) and Washi tape!😊🌿🌰❤

Very lovely! The colors turned out just so pretty. Tape is tape! People need to get a life and stop telling others how to live theirs! Im living in a hellscape here in Southern California with fires devouring entire neighborhoods. Everyone here knows someone who has lost their home or business or is evacuated. It is day 5 with fires still blazing and more winds predicted. Watching a relaxing painting video is a welcome respite.from the local fire updates. Hoping your headache starts getting better.

Oh Diane, there are always going to be those people out there to criticize others. It apparently is a phenomenon, a bad one. You are amazing and I will always love to watch what you do and be inspired by your carefree way of painting. Love this painting, the colors are wonderful. Take good care and stay safe (always say NO to the people trying to sell you bitcoin or whatever it is).

I do love these unique, happy patterns. As a beginner I can have success with them and people of all abilities can create all kinds of happy patterns. I feel so bad that people criticize you for such ridiculous things! I pray your headache goes away soon. I have suffered from headaches since I was a teen and some headaches can be stubborn and last for weeks. So, I feel your pain. Recently I got from my dentist a night mouth guard thingy and remarkedly my headaches have been less frequent! Keep trying methods to find relief until something helps!
@DianeAntoneStudio8 сағат бұрын
Hi Darcy and thanks so much for your thoughtful and kind messages. I’m so glad you’re finding these patterns and simple designs helpful and enjoyable! Interesting what you say about headaches that won’t go away. I know I clench my jaw - I have a bit of TMJ and occasionally my jaw dislocates itself - I’m sure that doesn’t help headaches!! Yes, I will keep on trying!❤️

Your channel has such a variety of 😮 products - several types of paints, brushes, pens, etc. I've purchased many of them because I love the effects as well as experimenting. Keep doing what you're doing and disregard the critics of the world. There will always be negative people - somehow they didn't learn if you don't have anything nice to say then say nothing at all. lol

I love the chocolate-y wet in wet leaves! Absolutely beautiful! Ibuprofen is my friend…I’m going to think about the table easel because I know it’s from looking down too much because how else do I paint? Thank you for the wonderful video!
@DianeAntoneStudio8 сағат бұрын
Sounds great! I’m certainly hoping it’s going to help me! If you do decide to use the table easel remember that for awhile you will find it awkward to paint because you need to retrain your muscles that you’ve been using in a certain way for a long time. I definitely noticed the difference. But I know that I can do it because I have painted on an easel for many years when I was doing oils and acrylics and a specific style of watercolour that required me to stand upright and paint on an easel. Definitely worth thinking about because a constant headache is something nobody wants to live with! Thanks so much for your appreciation and for enjoying the videos!❤️

I think people say the weirdest things to you, so bizarre. I agree I need to use my washi tape, but mine must be really cheap as it seems to come off easily. I’m glad you’re using the Art Nouveau set, I was just thinking I need to get back to them. Also, I’ve been using a desk easel for a few years. Once I got use to it,I liked it a lot better. But I do have to watch for too much running water, sometimes I don’t want it. I got a set of Derwent pastel watercolors for Christmas and I really like them. Very delicate colors, similar to the Art Nouvau ones. Take care, hope the easel helps the headache! PS, haha tell those that criticize you the cliff advice! I love your sense of humor!

I don’t use washi tape because it’s pricey in South Africa. I can’t afford artist’s tape either. So cheap masking tape is my go to, as it doesn’t stick all that well and doesn’t damage the paper when you remove it. But, why not use washi tape if it’s cheap where you live. Honestly Diane, I wouldn’t let the criticism get to you. You do you…we love you just as you are!
@DianeAntoneStudio8 сағат бұрын
Thanks Deirdre! I’m sure it would be very expensive here in France too. I basically use what I’m sent for free! Most of my life I’ve used painters tape and I don’t see anything wrong with that! Like you say we do what we do whatever that is we do our best! Thanks so much for your support! I’m so glad you enjoy the videos❤️

I love my KURETAKE watercolors! Who's saying not to use them? Other watercolor companies?
@yovamccoy28064 сағат бұрын
I enjoyed watching you paint the different leaves. One thing that was missing was seeing how the smaller looked when it dried. Regarding the washi tape controversy: I think they are worried about someone stockpiling it so someone else can't buy and use it for its "true" purpose. Go ahead and use what you have. Better that it get used than just sit there. I hope your headache goes away soon.

If you want to use washi tape, use washi tape 🤦♀️🤷♀️ I have a few packs that i use, it doesn't stick to the paper as much as masking tape does, so is easier to remove. Why on earth would anyone tell you not to take ibuprofen? It's all I can take for pain 🥴 Why are some people so annoying? Carry on being you Diane, it's what we love 😁 I do hope you get rid of your stressful situation and your headache soon 🤞

Lovely painting❤ I find your channel and you refreshing as you let the busybodies know what is what in a fairly placid way. 😊 I think its great. AND you certainly dont need anyone's permission to washi or Kuretaki, least of all mine or above mentioned busybody. Sorry you feel anxious. And definitely ( unsolicited advice) keep away from unsolicited bitcoin and block chain mssgs. They're scams. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh, good grief! What everyone else said. It's easy to be critical especially with the relative anonymity of the internet. Unfortunately, it's a playground for the small-minded. I'm sorry about your troubles. Family stress is the worst. I hope everything works out and you find some serenity soon. You are making a difference here!
