It's so amazing how she turns watercolour effects to look like gouache, but then again, retains the look of watercolour.

This woman is so talented. I actually get frustrated watching her videos lol. Not because of anything she does, but because she is so good that I get frustrated that I can't express myseld in that way. Unfortunately, I was not born with an artistic body. I LOOOOVEEEEEE art and I want to express myseld so badly, but my mind just doesn't work in that way. I try and try, practice and practice and still, my stuff looks like a 5 year old did it (probably worse, lets be real LOL). I always wonder what it must be like to just think something up in your mind and create it with pencil, paint, marker, pen, etc......it must feel so freeing. I get frustrated and want to do it too, but my brain just doesn't work in that way unfortunately. It's like I'm an artist soul trapped in a science brain type body hahahaha.

I feel you but in a different way lol. I'm a graphic artist and I do really have a busy schedule. And watching videos like this during my break time makes me relaxed yet frustrated at the same time. I don't have any spare time to do art especially intricate/detailed ones lol but hey! Still practice and practice! I'm a Fine Arts graduate yet there are still room to grow. I still practice when I have time. You'll see your progress anytime soon as long as you have the heart to art, hehehe! 💖😊

I’m at art school and lemme tell you, it’s not easy. Practice more and practice correctly is all I can say, which is awful to hear (I know, I’ve heard it myself) What you have done is better than what you started with I’m sure, and so I think you have the ability. I sucked before I got into school for this, and now that I’m here, I realize it’s a lot of mileage. You have to do it over and over again, but never in the same way, or else you won’t learn. If you try something and get frustrated, approach it completely different way- whether the medium is different, the environment, it doesn’t even have to be the actual drawing/painting. It’s all about building up that visual library so you CAN draw from your head. Most people who have a hard time start off without realism. You need to know realistic textures and anatomy and stuff from life, or else how will you base things that are exaggerated or not real? I believe in you man just gotta keep at it don’t convince yourself that it’s just your brain.

There is no artist body, these people who make this amazing art spend years building their skills, suggesting that they simply were born in a body that magically legs them make their creations is both insulting and ignorant. No one is born with an inate talent for a skill, they learn and practice until they either give up or are where they want to be. You just need to practice and maybe look up tips and tutorials to try and get a better feel for it since learning about what you want to do can make the process MUCH easier

@@vanishingpoint781 I'm not sure about a white thing but she does peel off masking fluid almost at the end (when the corals are revealed). It's a material used mostly by watercolor artists and it basically preserves whatever's underneath it so we can paint over without fear of bleeding :)
