You know, if I'm being completely objective, we HATED the idea of getting rid of Mack a few years back but many of us couldn't argue with the idea that as good as he was we still were not winning on Defense even with him. Didn't make sense to pay him as much as he wanted if the D was going stink with or without him. I think those of us who didn't want to see Carr go should see his departure the same way. Whether he was good or not it's hard to justify paying a guy that much money to still lose anyway, his fault or not. Maybe the money we save with Jimmy will get better talent on the D to make us more balanced. If Jacobs can have the same kind of year as he did last year , Jimmy G does NOT turn the ball over and our D is improved we can't do any worse. I wish you the best Jimmy G, make us proud.
