You might be careful using those bird cages. I have used them in the past, sometimes the babies banded leg can slip thru the floor of the cage and get themselves caught. Good luck with your breeding season.

Most Wire cages legit scare the crap out of me with mine. They are rescues so they are all over the place. Still learning to live. And all I care for have only ever known myself and whoever I con into checking them out lol 😄
