¡Saludos!

Very nice! I’ve always wanted to do something like that with Lionel stuff. I used to be a scale modeler in HO, long ago, but I don’t have the time and patience for that anymore, nor the eyes! Even my fingers say “no more HO. Do something big.” The 3rd rail used to bother me, but not anymore. I’m not interested in creating a perfect copy of the world, but just a representation of it for my amusement. Emphasis on amusement. You’ve done that and more… some of the scenes are truly lifelike. I can imagine a parallel universe where tracks have 3 rails, conductors tell their passengers to leap across the threshold between cars, car men tell us to keep the tracks deep for their flanges, and where gravity and inertia vary each day like the weather. Then Lionel seems perfectly lifelike. One of these days I’m going to take my boxes and boxes of Lionel stuff and do that!

Hey Bryan That was incredible! your attention to detail is really well done! Our PTF DESIGNS background buildings flats look really awesome on your layout too! My favorite was the waterfall and lake scene with the beach and the pervy guy snapping pictures of the bikini chicks! LOL

Man, there is so much to admire in this video -- the detail, the little scenes you've created, the realism of the rolling stock, the whole atmosphere of a small town plus the creative angles used in the actual shooting of the video. Well done, sir, well done. I subscribed right off the bat.

Such a nice layout and I absolutely love the scenery! How did you do the ground cover on yours? Currently building a shelf mounted layout in my bedroom and I want to have a decent but simple amount of scenery on mine.
@bpair46082 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I lay coat of mat finish Modge Podge with a brush and sprinkle whatever cover (Woodland Scenics Fine Turf, sand, gravel, etc.). Then I spray alcohol. From there I dilute Modge Podge w/ water and spray over that). The scenery is the fun part. 🙂

I've gotten old in my old age and really want to do a new train layout with O scale because it'd easier to work with and wiring is easier but I'm having a hard time with that 3rd rail on the track and the trains just look like toys . HO is so much better and what I've usually had( other than a N scale nightmare) but not sure my old eyes and hands can deal with them anymore.

Very nice and realistic layout ,but ditch the old school Lionel passenger cars for some M T H passenger cars with actual interiors and passengers or the new Lionel 21 inch passenger cars or even the 18 inch Lionel passenger cars with interiors and passengers .
