Paisley was a great place to grow up,left in 1951. Made many visits "home" over the years. Now at 84, don't feel like travelling!! Thanks for the memories.

Thanks for this film...very interesting. My mother was a Paisley Buddy...she lost a couple of her siblings in the Glen Cinema tragedy. Although I was born in Carshalton in Surrey we always went to Paisley in the summer holidays and I have fond memories of the place in its prosperous days of the 50s and 60s. Like a lot of British industrial towns it's had quite a battering since then but it's an imaginative choice for city of culture and has a past to be proud of. It needs a bit of imaginative investment

+Beerwulf ofCarshalton Thank you for watching my film Beerwulf (which I am assuming is not the given name from your Parents :) ) Sad to hear about your Mother`s Siblings caught up in that terrible tragedy. My own Father was at the Glen Cinema every Saturday but, thankfully not on that day. He was `grounded` that day for being `cheeky` to the next-door neighbour. :) Thank God for that. Take care.

Hi Neil, what a beautiful depiction of a lovely town,(Paisley).Never been there, know its got loads of open spaces. Thanks for using 'Working Man' as one of the backing tracks.Remember when I asked you for the lyrics? You sent them to me and I've used them many times at karaoke nights.Goes down well with most people! You're now in another part of this Great country, but you'll always be remembered by me and Cheryl from the first time we saw you at Loch Long back in 1998.Enjoy the sunny south xx

I live in New Zealand but I was born in Paisley and will never forget the place. I left in 1962 and now with the aid of modern technology I can see all the places I used to frequent. It was really interesting in the 50s after the war but now the world has changed but the simple pleasures were great in those days with the open spaces round our house in Clydesdale Avenue. Maybe go back one day after 51 years, but surprising that some of my neighbours or their offspring are still in that street!
