Advanced countries have faster trains. But the marvel of Indian railways is it's sheer scale of operations. Indian railways is adding an entire Swiss railways worth of new rail tracks every year. Equivalent of entire population of Australia travels on IR everyday. Mail and Express trains have 21 coaches and Superfast icons have 23 coaches that are apx 760 meters long or perhaps longer.

The Amrit Bharat Express train number 15557 departs from Darbhanga Junction (DBG) at 3 PM every Monday and Thursday and arrives at Anand Vihar Terminal station in Delhi at 12:35 PM the next day. The train takes 21 hours and 35 minutes to cover the 1,145 km distance at an average speed of 53 km/h. As of December 30, 2023, the general ticket price for the 15557/15558 Amrit Bharat Express train from Darbhanga to Delhi is Rs 600 for a sleeper (SL). A Tatkal ticket from Darbhanga to Delhi costs Rs 770 for a sleeper (SL).

He should have added that most flights and trains are being late because of the smog visibility conditions. 35 minutes late arrival hence is not bad. Summers you will never hear of any train delays. After Metro started in Delhi and NCR, i hardly use my car to travel around as it is traffic free, no red lights, great AC, clean and i see totally changed behaviour of people. Now young people jump out their seat to offer a seat to the elders. Earlier youngsters would sit on lady's seats and keep looking out of the windows in over-crowded DTC buses, never listening to the bus conductors. Proud of the changed education, infrastructure and habits of the common citizens.

Total run 21 hour hai usne middle journey se board kiya isiliye 7 hour ki journey hai total darbhanga to delhi 21 hour journey only 600 Rupees Approx 1200 km journey only in 600 ab kya chahiye bho bhi itti top class train mai.baas log sudhar jai thoda ghanda naa karien.
