Nagvanshi aur Suryavanshi are different Dynasty of Kashtriya dont mix them pls 🙏 Suryavanshi Rajputs ruled from Western bharat to eastern bharat I belong to Suryavanshi Rajput of Bisen clan ( Descendant of Lakshman) and my maternal family belongs to Suryavanshi Rajput of Raghuvansh Clan ( Descendant of Lord Ram) Gautam buddha and Mahavir jain also belonged to Suryavansh Kaurav, Pandavas, Lord Krishna & Eklavya belonged to Chandravansh kaurav and pandav were Kuru clan and Krishna Eklavya were Yadu clan ( Yaduvashi / Yadav)

@@spidylov3382 Puranas mentions the geanology of nagas. Nagvanshi are subset of Suryavansh. Suryavansh and Chandravansh are just celestial luminary. Nagas were descendants of Kashyap Rishi and Kadru. Some of Naga kshtriya rulers were Nair's of Kerala, Nagas of Chotanagpur, Jharkhand, Nagas of Padmavati Madhyapradesh, Nagas of Vindhyatabi Odhisa, Nagas of Panna Madhyapradesh, Nagas of Kalahandi Odisha, Chindaka Nagas of Odhisa and Chattisgarh , Bunts of Karnataka, Reddy and Tulu of Andra Pradesh. Many Jaats of Rajasthan a are also nagavanshi. Rajput, Jaats or Nair's all these were titles. Karkota dynasty of Kayasthas who build Martand Surya temple were Nagavanshis. Please do not limit India's thousand years of history limiting to one community or one place.

We still celebrate NAGPANCHAMI in Shravan/ Savan maas😊 But the real reson is to save the specie😊 Barish ki vajah se Nag ke bil me pani ghusta hai ,bo baher nikalte hai to manushya daar se unhe maar dete hain. So to save them I think this festival is celebrated. Sri shuka son of vyasa came -made parikshit listen to the Bhagavatha purana-in 7 days and parikshit attained salvation or moksha as it is called. Shuka told park.about his son's serpent yagya but parik.was beyond all these now and kept quiet. In the yagya Indra king of celestials(devas) and takshak who had taken refuge with Indra were brought right above the yagya site to be burned out but as said earlier the yagya had to be stopped. In later days story goes janmajeya developed leprosy and visited guruvayur where he did penance and was cured.
