No. The stone was taken from Khammam to Delhi. There Mr Arun Yogiraj from Mysore and his two teams worked tirelessly 24/7 without a day off. I heard his interview yesterday. He mentioned it was tough because of weather conditions (Delhi vs Mysore) and strange location but they enjoyed the process

Just to answer your query, 'Kartavya path' is the whole of previously called Raj path... jo India gate se shuru ko kar Rashtrapati Bhavan tak jaati hai (around 3km), jo humari north aur south block se ho kar guzarti hai....North aur south block hai abhi tak sari important ministries ka office raha karta tha including defence and home ministry... but after completion of this project (Vista Project) it will be converted into museums for common public (Same will be the case with old Parliament building), as new offices are being constructed through out the length of 'Kartavya Path' meaning "path of duty". The Central vista avenue inaugrated by Our PM is the newly redeveloped Kartavya path area, including the statue of Netaji, the lawns surrounding it, the "shaheed smark", and the water bodies (which will opened for general public for boating too) and the new vending area developed underground.
