Dear Iman and Moazzam, I am a 46 year old boy born and brought up in Lucknow. Kebab is not a dish it's an experience of the culture which emanates from that dish along with the fragrance and taste.We area generation that has seen the transformation of Lucknow from few renowned eateries of rahim and Tunday to Dastarwkhaan type open eateries but the tradition still lingers .Its nostalgic to remember cycling 12 kms on Sunday to go to Rahims in Chowk for Nihari and later during Lucknow University days to move in Evening to Aminabad Tunday for Kebab Paratha which today remains my most favourite snack. The way Lucknow and Lucinowites have preserved the aromas of an era gone by is truly amazing .Its actually these aromas and tastes which are now sitting quietly somewhere within you which are theLucknow you carry with you and which keep calling you to them.Kakori is a town just a short distance from Lucknow also famous for Kakori Train Loot by freedom fighters whuch gives the name to those Kebabs.

Kakori is a place at Lucknow. Kakori Kabab is named after that. During 1978, a couple related to my friend (lady) came to Lucknow. I was with them for whole day. They were surprised to see the etiquette of people here. It is cherishable.

These are all palaces of nawabs in Lucknow, he was hosting them at his own house. It’s an art to make this. Extremely complicated. Urdu also originated in Lucknow- persianised version of Hindi.

Being vegetarian I haven't tasted any😃 but yes can surely say that the dedication, those selective masalas definitely have made kababs taste delicious. Potali masala is used in sm chole recipes too. Editing was absolutely fantastic 👍🏻👌

Kakori is a town and a Nagar panchayat in Lucknow district in Uttar Pradesh. Yeh 14 km north of Lucknow hai. It is famous for 2 things - "Kakori Kabab" and "Kakori Train Action" (Kakori Kand during British Raj). Kakori Kabab to aap log aaj kha rahe hain (vertually) aur Kakori Kand ki kahani kuch aisi hai - The Kakori Train robbery took place at Kakori, a village near Lucknow, on 9 August 1925 by Hindustan Republican Association. Ise amli jama - Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah Khan ne Apne saathiyon ke Saath pehnaya tha. Isme Ek passenger galti se maare gaye jiski wajah se British Raj ne isko "Man Slaughter" case bana diya. Un logon ne Sarkari bags (jo guards' cabin mei the and contained about ₹ 4600) loote aur Lucknow nikal gaye. Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaq Ullah Khan, Roshan Singh, and Rajendra Nath Lahiri ko Fansi ki sazaa hui. Some were sent to "Kala Pani" - Andanman Nicobar aur baki ke kuch saalon le liye jail gaye.

After independence, royalty was abolished in India but royal families were allowed to retain one or two forts / palaces. They were also given privy purse ( a kind of generous allowance) initially, which was abolished later on by Indira Gandhi. Still many royal families descendents are living in their palaces, some have converted their palaces into hotels.
