Back from our trip to Khao Lak. Definitely worth the visit. Spot on with your restaurant tips on the beach by the hotel. 🙂 Top of list for us were, in no particular order: Mr Bao (super friendly and happy place!... even went on two excursions with Mr. Smith, who has a stand at Mr. Bao's - highly recommended!); Chill-lay (excellent food and service); Krua Thai (Happy Hour and great food, great sunset views!))

Silly question, but do the resturants sell beer on draft, or just bottles?

I never gave it a thought until you’ve asked but now you mention it did always seem to be bottles. I’m not sure if they do have draft but i think we always got bottles.

This was our first trip to Thailand so can’t compare it but we loved Khao Lak, it was great for our little family.

Thailand what is the currency exchange rate? And do you need cash to spend on the beach?

It’s was around 44 THB to £1 British pound. I don’t actually know if you can use a card or not on the beach as we only had cash ☺️ thank you for watching 👍🏻
