TIME TO RECHECK ON WHAT WE ALLOWED OURSELVES TO TOLERATE In a young town like ours, which is still in its initial struggling days to grasp the right path of socially acceptable atmosphere, measures and initiatives that Pakhum has undertaken need support and appreciation from the mass, even if not by all at least by majority. Once I came across a US returnee pastor Dejectedly talking about rampant drug abuse in our town areas. Within just a few years of that talk, we see the answer in a man whom we've never met nor known previously. Now, I hope that the Pastor would have heaved a sight of relief. Singapore as such, became a first world country only after they started not tolerating even simple gums and what we may call a lifestyle of Hippies. There was once a time in Churachandpur Bazar whenever you walk on the road you will be approached by some unknown person saying "na deih hia?". It was a very Horrible Situation for young people to grow up in that environment. Now that Pakhum start his mission, that Scenario is a bit decreasing, but not completely out. So Pakhum need support from every department (Law Enforcement Agencies, Public, CSOs, etc.,)
