Although Absar talked about Pakistan's history and the Afghan problem brilliantly , yet the manner in which he portrays criminals (Jiyalas and Patwaris) as some kind of seasoned politicians is pathetic. Before the 1970s , Kabul had a pro USSR regime and was totally tilted to India. USSR had expansionist designs and wanted to reach warm waters i.e. the Indian ocean. This was a threat to USA interests and the main reason for unrest in the region. Talibans, good or bad is the outcome. Now Chinese factor is also playing.
