I learnt another major thing from this game. Pant is a better keeper than Rizwan. More acrobatic, had his one glove off in the final three overs, more difficult to steal a bye, Rizwan dropped Arshdeep off Amir, definitely an easy catch had he put a dive, you don't expect Pant to drop those. He has got quite a resume of flying diving catches. His keeping against spin was a bit dodgy early in his career around 2019-20, but he has massively improved, plus his stumping is also lightning quick.

You guys are saying that Usman is a league player he's never seen this level before, but earlier you were saying PPL shd h picked from psl. I think this world cup has pretty firmly made it clear that leagues are no where near Int'l cricket and performances in T20 don't necessarily translate to T20I. As for fakhar, he is inconsistent. He plays well once in ten matches. He might never play well in the world cup and then hit a lot of runs in a series after that. It is better for Pakistan to move on. Pak don't have a 15 from which they can make a playing 11 without holes, so some players will have to play which will be bad for Pakistan and the players' mental state but selection influenced by politics, connections and league cricket has put Pak in a situation like this.

I feel like bowlers have gotten too much praise tbh, looking at all the matches played on this venue, was it really anything out of the ordinary? I think the Canada Ireland game was the only time where a score higher than yesterdays game was scored. We bowled Ok at best, and Shaheen was under par. Would be impressive if we could actually defend something, or if the bowlers did better in more balanced conditions, in these conditions even Netherlands and Srilanka bowlers look like peak Ambrose or Mcgrath.... Lets not over hype these guys, we havent bowled well in ages TBH... As Im watching this, Bangladesh vs SA is on, same venue, and SA have been restricted to 113, so what should we make of this now? I would argue that SKY doesn’t need to be a sticky wicket player. There are plenty of them in the lineup. His role is to maximize scores on good batting wickets, which has been India’s biggest sore point over the years.
