Ayub khan was pashtun and he belongs to tareen pashtun tribe.. hazara is not an ethnicity its a territory located in Khyber pashtunkhwa. But yes ayub khan family is living in hazara region of pakhtunkhwa province but basically they are from northern Balochistan's pashtun populated area pishin district near quetta city on durand line.. his village and relatives still living their in pishin district Balochistan.. Ayub khan was a Tareen pathan and lived in hazara . Hazara was part of ranjit kashmir but after him dogra asked for jammu instead of hazara . Hazara has hindko speaking non pathans as in Peshawar . They want independence from kpk but more likely is this will be divided and non pathan part will become part of Punjab

Scene for division of hazara with part going into Punjab and other into kpk is inevitable even though Pathan factions incite them to demand new province so that others areas also demand new province leading to division of Punjab into three provinces . Punjab is rich enough not to require kpk or Baluchistan . Pathans in Pakistan are not much valued now in Punjab and Sindh ..they see them as hegemonist undemocratic messianic violent homosexuals crime tilted wanting to use good sentiments of others in name of islam.and Pakistan into trade war and shame
