Ali bhai, Emotional Quotient (EQ) ka idher KOI lena dena nahi hai with the Shaheen situation. Savera is right abt team not knowing the qualifying target - they said so at the post match ceremony too! He did a dumb thing but his EQ was tested when the captaincy was taken from him overnight and false statements given on his behalf to media by PCB... and he showed more emotional intelligence I would expect a 24 yr old at that stage. Shaheen ki EQ ko side per rakhain please even if you learnt this topic yesterday.

Savera is correct about realizing these are humans - yes they are professionals but professionals are human too.. The environment PCB has deliberately created is one of insecurity and favortism not merit, so this certainly affects players motivation and psychology.

Cant really see the benefit of this tournament to anything else going on in the domestic game in Pakistan. The majority of players are the same, the majority of the ones doing well are the same, and the majority of those representing pakistan already have their spots guaranteed regardless of this tournament. A tournament of nothingness to say the least where we know where the batsmen are in terms of strike rates, what the fielding standards are (average at best), what can be chased (250) and what cant (325 plus), same spectrum of speeds of bowlers (130-140kph), no new talent unearthed etc. Cant help but feel the dark days of Pakistan cricket are here to stay for atleast 5 years if this tournament and player pool is to be used to judge where pakistan cricket is
