Pakistan India Border Last Railway Station || Kasur Railway Station

Kasur Junction Railway Station is located in Punjab Pakistan. This is Pakistan India border last railway station. Kasur Junction was a junction before the partition of Pakistan and India. But after partition it became only a railway station. From here, a branch line used to go to Amritsar junction via Ferozepur, now after the division of this line is dead end. In today's time there is only one train arrival and departure. Kasur is also a historical city located in Pakistani Punjab.

I remember, My mother used to tell us that in her childhood, she used to travel from Lahore to Ferozepur via Walton- Raiwind- Raja Jang- Kasur - Ferozepur City route. Kasur was a very busy junction. People from Ferozepur wanting to go by Rail to Amritsar or vice versa will first come to Kasur, Catch other train to Amritsar via Khemkaran-Patti TarnTarn Railway line. Another Railway line used to go to Ferozepur - Delhi- Bombay. Punjab Mail used to run on this route.
