Since the inception of Pakistan, its politics has always been eventful. Something or the other keeps happening in our neighboring country. However, the peak of these events occurred in the late 90s. The Prime Minister of India traveled to Pakistan by bus, and the very same Nawaz Sharif who received him saw his government toppled, followed by the Kargil war between the two countries. During these significant events, Ruchi Ghanashyam was a witness. She has written a book about these experiences titled An Indian Woman in Islamabad.
