To everyone commenting that I should not have wasted food, I completely agree. If I could re- make the video i would be a lot more humble in my selection of food in line with the spirit of Ramadan. There are many people that don’t have access to food so the way I wasted food was not good. The only thing I can say is that I’m just learning about Ramadan and I’m not a perfect human being, I make mistakes. Please accept this as my lesson learned and I’ll use this experience as an opportunity to grow.

You are doing good bro. We all are learning and make mistakes. We waste food too sometimes and specially if you have a lot of variety you can't decide what to eat and what to leave. When we are fasting and it comes to break our fast sometimes we try to fill our plates too. Nothing to worry you are a good and humble person

Hey Phil, please don't take this the wrong way but one thing Ramadan fasting teaches us being grateful for all the blessings we take for granted. Especially food and water, we should try not to waste too much. You can always go back for seconds later if you want more, and that is much better than being too wasteful with food. Phil, that round small crispy fried thing you asked about. Is called Kachori, (like a mini puri) it has Daal /lentils stuffed in it which you may have tasted. That green colored dessert was likely a pistachio flavored ‘Kheer ’ with coconut garnish. Enjoy! Also, loved how much grace you show when taking constructive criticism. Food waste is a global problem, but the Ramadan spirit is to be grateful for the food that God has blessed you with and try to give back to others who cannot afford a proper meal , to ensure that those who are under privileged get fed, but we often forget that and leave so much on our plates which is eventually thrown away. Actually you can try more things if you add just half spoon of everything. They refill everything so there's no need to worry about not getting enough. + If you're fasting don't drink too much just after breaking fast drink a little you can always hydrate after a while
