Misbah is the main culprit behind Pakistan's performance in the past few years. He broke up the team and removed Sarfraz from the captaincy based on just one bad T20 series against Sri Lanka. He then made the inexperienced Babar Azam captain, who has proven to be a brainless leader with no leadership qualities even after five major international tournaments. Misbah should be held accountable and punished for his actions. The best approach is to appoint a player as vice-captain and groom him over several major tournaments. This way, he learns how to lead, and the other players are prepared to accept him as their leader. However, in Pakistan, things are done differently, leading to bad politics and the ruin of the team, as we are witnessing now.🥵

Misbah and Waqar took revenge from Sarfaraz, whom they saw as the cause of their deserved, insulting exit as player/captain/coach from the Pakistan team in 2015. They made public statements against Sarfaraz during the WC and said he could not play in Australia, even Wasim Akram backed this. Then all he did was smack all of them in the faces with his performance. Misbah immediately went in to coaching and as soon as he came to power, he sacked and removed Sarfaraz completely while appointing Waqar as bowling coach. This was clearly motivated for Punjabi's to be in power of the board.

@@ce11amitkumaryadav83 you have not read it correctly. 2 host nations- Ind, sl are automatically qualified Top 8 teams in this world cup- Top 2 ranked teams (who are not included in the previous category) - if NZ and England are eliminated then they will be included under this category. The only thing Pakistan can do now is to remain in the top 9 of this world cup assuming sl is eliminated. They have to win the next 2 matches big.
