WRONG ANALYSIS: Harris never played longer formats even at domestic level. His muscle memory isn’t developed. His body support him for 4 overs and he’s in the 30s already. He should be used smartly for T20s. He was failed badly even in ODI 2023 WC because his body was not used to bowl 10 overs consistently. If he will play on a pitch like Rawalpindi I fear he will be unfit again. He should focus on white ball only. However, New kids, should start focusing on red ball since earlier age. Even Aqib Javed said “he is fit for 4 overs “ . Secondly, opposition like England, likes the pace. We can trap England with spin and seam , not the pace.

I am from India and I follow Pak cricket(World cricket for that matter). I don't think Haris Rauf suits for Test cricket. He is similiar to Shaun Tait.. Pace itself can't create impact in test cricket. It needs patience and plan. Mohammad Abbas used to be a good bowler for Pak who used to take wickets with limited pace.. But they dropped him. Naseem shah+ (Kurram Shahzad/Hamza) + Shaheen combination should work for pace... At this point, Pakistan is lacking quality spinners and allrounders in test cricket
