I believe this Rasoob ALCM is designed for JF-17, as Raad missile weighs 1100 KG, so JF-17 could only carry either 1 or max 2 Raad missiles on a mission. With the weight of Rasoob being 285 KG, JF-17 will be able to carry 4 missiles. The warhead size of Rasoob is greatly reduced as compared to Raad, but 75 KG is more than enough to seriously cripple a destroyer class ship, or if used on land, it is enough to obliterate a SAM battery or cripple an enemy HQ.

Red Arraow anti tank missile is in par with American 'Javalin' missile acquired by India. Both are latest generation fire and forget missiles, while what Pak Army uses like 'Baktar Shikan', 'Milan' and 'Tow' are wire guided and old generation missiles. We shld combine the technologies in hand and come up with our own fire and forget version .

What difference between Taimur, RAAD and Rasoob, all in same design and characteristics. Only derivatives. No design stealthy and supersonic, Pak must go scramjet cruise missiles. Till then add afterburner turbojet engine with side mini fuel tank with fighter avionics like RWR ECCM Decoys dispensing and AI,all work when detected by hostile emissions. I have a novel idea about scramjet engine.

Scramjet cruise missiles? Sure, if Pakistan had NASA’s budget and decades of R&D to spare. Adding afterburners and side fuel tanks sounds cool, but you’d be strapping a Ferrari engine onto a scooter-it’s inefficient and impractical. Fighter avionics like ECCM and AI on missiles? Let’s start with making stealth work first. And your ‘novel idea’ for scramjets? Unless it's patent-ready, let’s leave the dreams in the notebook.
