Pakistan by not creating any dams or optimizing the use of the three western rivers is going through water crisis. Water does not originate in Kashmir valley but in Ladakh and Tibet plateau. I am not sure what type of expert is Mr. Qureshi but he is wrong in claiming that he is a Kashmiri. Qureishi cannot be Kashmiri . Pakistan wrongly labels the people of Mirpur as "Kashmiris" they are Jammuites. Jammu culture is totally different from Kashmir valley. Jammu people speak Pahari/Dogri language while Kashmir valley speak Kashmiri language.

Most of the media reports on the weapons trade including import of weapons by India. However, they seems to repeat from the old text books snd reports without applying their mind. Indian weapon trade is seeing huge chsnge. This itself is a full topic in itself. Your guest has commented purchase of fighters from France. May I add following: 1. This deal was initiated and almost matured under Prime Minister Dr MM Singh. It was supposed to be 110 fighters with made in India component. 2. Prime Minister Modi curtailed it to 36 fighters. Plus all the fighters were bought off the self which they were manufactured and tested in France. 3. France has been pursuing for last 4-5 years with India to sale 114 fighter planes to India which PM Modi did not let happen. 4. US has trying very very hard to sale F16/F21 (Locheed Martin) or F 15 EX Eagle (Boeing) to India. PM Modi is not in a mood to import. 5. Things have drastically chsnged within India as far as the manufacturing of fighter aircrafts is concerned. 6. It was unthinkable that indisn private sector will get involve un the manufacturing of the fighters. It looks from outside that manufacturing is done by government company HAL. But as a matter of fact major components are manufactured by private sector. Hundreads of companies are involved. 7. Even IITs, IISc and other academic institutes are involved in cutting edge research in this area. I don't think any channel reports on this. It is just part of the story. I am constrained by time and space.
