Pakistani Chicken Biryani Recipe | چکن بریانی بنانے کا طریقہ

Ingredients for Biryani
1 and 1/2 kg Banaspati Rice
1 kg chicken with bone
6/7 onions
4 medium potatoes
8 tomatoes
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 cup yogurt
1 packet biryani masala
For some extra flavour add
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp chilli flakes
1 tsp haldi powder
Dried plums
For boiling rice
Water as required
1 star
2 bay leaf
8 black pepper
1 black cardamom
1 tbsp cumin seed
4 tbsp salt

Love the Garlic hack. 👍 I usually buy alot of garlic soak it and the peel comes off easily. After, I put it all in a blender with some oil, salt and blend. Then I take the garlic mixture and place it in ice cube trays and freeze them. Once frozen, place in a zip lock bag or container and put it back in the freezer. This way garlic is ready to put in the masala. I do this with ginger paste as well, mint and Cilantro. It works well when you want to make a chutney.

You can use regular canola oil or olive oil. I had a little bit of olive oil left over so I used it. But canola oil works just as good. The first time I made it, I made it with just garlic and water. It was kinda slushy/icey. It still works but, when I made a new batch of garlic cubes, I decided to put oil with a bit of salt to preserve it better, So the results seemed smoother and easier to remove from the ice cube tray. It is such a time saver when your cooking. I had to learn these hacks because I live on a mountain lol... 1st Yr and I'm surviving lol 😂 Alhumdulillah I'm glad you all like it ♥
