The theory that is presented in India ( don't know if true or not) is that Mr. Jinnah was hungry for power and he would have stopped the partition if he was made the PM. There is also a theory wherein it is said that Mr. Jinnah said that Jinnah wanted Sardar Patel to be the PM and was opposed to Nehru.

Dr Parvez's comment that Indian leaders were happy on 15th August 1947 is strange and illogical. To understand the entire saga of partition one needs to read the books of Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed - a 20 minute program is not enough. His book on Jinnah is a masterpiece which explodes many myths such as Congress wanted partition and not Jinnah.

Aaj Akliyaten har idaron mein shana-bashana apna kirdaar ada kar rahi hai. Bangladesh mein bhi Hinduon ka bura haal hai. Taksim ke dauran 18% thi, aaj ghatkar 7-8% rah gayi hai. Yeh waze ho gaya hai ki Islami Nizam Akliyaton ke kabhi munasib nahin ho saktha.

Intention of Jinnah seems good but foresight may be challenged. 2ndly, after Pakistan was made, we would have flourished, had we been able to make progress. So, we are suffering not due to our forefathers but for our own ability. Fathers were wrong, we could have made things right, if we had talent needs to correct things. Why are talking about that time because we are suffering now badly and Indian are enjoying progress. If we are comfortable, we will not talk like that perhaps. In fact we feel need to look back into history due to present Pak situation . It is great! Basically we should avoid deadcatting strategy, although understanding history, being unbiased, is a great virtue. Please search for dead cat strategy also for better contribution in problem solving approach.
