I can't believe that a senior comedian like Umer Sharif can have such a narrow minded approach towards a comedy show. I mean come on, that's what you do on comedy shows!! We Indians loved Ali Hassan and Irfan Malik when they were doing the same in India (cracking Pathan jokes and stuff). Today, these same guys are sitting in the studio criticising Shoaib. It is a fair comment. Indeed you should be mindful of your homeland, specially when visiting overseas. Imagine Kapil Dev on a show in Pakistani show mocking his colleagues. It doesn't come across as the educated thing to do. You should laugh with people, not at people. Omer Sharif did get a bit too emotional but what he meant does make good sense. Anyways, Shoab Akhtar was a very good cricketer for Pakistan and I being a fan feel a bit disappointed in him. I though I should share my honest opinions with you folks, hoping that many would understand what we feel. As for the cricket at the moment, I think that India has a much better preparation for the world cup and if they keep their focus and playing like this, they have a very good shot at the World Cup. It is a sport that we all enjoy watching and it should bring people together, not drift them apart.All the best. We all love Kapil and enjoy his shows a lot, reminds us of a young Umer Sharif.
