Imran Khan attended Olympics in China against the desire of USA/NATO. He declined to attend Biden's Democracy Conference which was meant to isolate China. He invited foreign minister of China to Islamic Conference in Islamabad. Imran Khan praised historic victory of China for ending extreme poverty. Imran praised the efforts of the Communist Party of China . He liked China's long term development planning model. He praised China's harsh steps against corruption. He went to Russia against the directives of America. He wanted an independent foreign policy and not be part of any block. He opposed military solution of Afghanistan. He opposed drone attacks on Pakistan. After Kabul fell his statements made USA look bad and defeated. He was going to have long term relationship with Russia .

I am PhD Scholar in China. When we travel across China we understand that there are hundreds of opportunities between Pakistan snd China in business, trade and development. As well as when ever we meet any chinese they listen about Pakistan and always say Pathia(iron brothers) or Xingdi (elder and younger brothers). Chinese public likes and respect Pakistani public like brothers. China have the capacity to develop Pakistan within 10 to 15 years. Because China is developing Xinjinag which is double in area as compared to Pakistan, but its development is too fast that its near to other cities. Best of luck my country Pakistan 😀 ♥️ 👍

Wonderful & insightful conversation on Milbus. Modi govt is right in its assessment of Pak mil that it will not honor understanding/agreement reached with India on any long term normalization, peace & trade. When Pak mil can ditch/backstab the Chinese who are giving weapons, dollars & diplomatic support then what's stopping them do so with India. Benign neglect is the right strategy for Pakistan as it allows India to grow and reach $5 trillion GDP, $5000 PCI, $1 trillion forex reserve & exports without the nuisance of Pak mil veto.

Recently, Bangladeshi youngsters paid with their blood to challenge an autocratic ruler, leading to her ouster.Elections of 1970 and independence in 1971 in the face of Pakarmy's unjust War has infused a spirit of resistance in their body politic. So far,Baloch and Pukhtuns are challenging the milbus interests in Pakistan.Whether there will be a mass uprising across the country anytime soon is not clear. There are however voices challenging the military stranglehold over our polity which is likely to add to the impetus.
