I come from a Christian background in India, in my experience, Hindus are some of the most tolerant people I know. If you think Hindus are not kind to people of other religions then ask yourself why a Muslim-majority Pakistan has Islam as its state religion but a Hindu-majority India does not have a state religion and chooses to be a secular nation, Muslims in India are given the rights to follow their religion and grow in numbers while Pakistan has it dwindling minorities be that Hindus, Sikhs or Christians. No doubt there are idiots among Hindus in India but there are lots of Hindus who will fight for the rights of minorities and keep India secular.

I wanna tell you few things about what is happening in India, about this rise of kattarness , 15:38 "Hindu ko dekha hai, but they are not very kind" Ye aap keh rahe ho, but here it's more of your unfamiliarity towards Hindus , also perception you have been fed from your surrounding. Aur aap itne logical hoke bhi ye feel krte ho, then its more shocking to me, kyuki maine aapke povs sune hai aur aap open aur samjhdaar lgte ho. and it also tells the extent of negative perception built in your community about hindus. aap ko shayad utna hee pata hai jitna aap ko dikha hai ya dikhaya gayaa hai. Aap India me normal logo ke saath rahe nahi, as a hindu living in India jo cheezo ko question krta hai, thoda boht self aware bhi h, uske perspective se batau aap ko, toh Hindus have always been tolerant. Hinduism has very open philosophy, they have been inclusive, but their inclusivity and tolerance have been exploited in past by invaders, they have been looted, converted etc. Their culture, temples, have been demolished. A bitter fact. It's been done by mainly Muslim invaders, thats why now hindus are very much defensive modee. I am not generalising that Muslims are bad, and im not on any side, im just telling you whats happening in india. So what I See is islam as religion has good principle too but it is a restricting religion and wants everyone to follow their way of things. It has fixed set of rules, and conversion is a thing and very much promoted, on other hand in Hinduism there is nothing like conversion (even non forced one) and other religion are non considered inferior. it's inclusive and accepting. But it was exploited, and after many years of exploitation when stability came, a new breed or type of Hindus took birth who were more kattar and Furious about being exploited, and didn't want history to repeat. It's like 'aapse ladne ke liye mujhe aapke level pe girna padega'. To hindutva ideology ke group like RSS, BJP ka ijaat huwa. And when they came to power, they have been promoting their ideology and want to repair and reestablish things that have been done to them in past. They have not forgotten things. Basically a new breed of kattar Hindus have originated to deal with already kattar muslims. Personally I and also ppl like you don't like this kattarness and these chaos bcoz of that. But that's reality.
