It's a shame this isn't accurate. In Pakistan we call the pre-functions the galiyaan, it's where women and girls gather in the evening to sing folk songs with a dholki (traditional drum) that is beaten with their hands and a spoon. We snack on nuts and sugar and nowerdays fried delacacies such as Pakoreh, Samoseh and chaat (spicy chickpea salad). The function following this is a mehndi, its a colourful celebration where mehndi is applied to the bride hands. The girls sisters and cousin sisters will circle the bride with candle lit plates. The grooms side will apply oil on the grooms hair and mehndi on his hand. They will do a traditional sammi dance (stick dance) circling around the groom. There's so much more but I wouldnt go by this video.

What most people around the world forget is that Pakistani wedding traditions are from pre-partition India which Pakistan was a part of. On the face of it, our weddings are more similar to Indian weddings than they are to those in other Muslim countries. Pakistani weddings do incorporate the Nikkah which is an exclusively Muslim tradition where Quranic passages and prayers are read by a religious authority and the bride and groom verbally accept each other as spouses and sign nikkah contracts. The Nikkah is the most important part of an Islamic marriages and is always a part of Pakistani weddings. Everything else though like the numerous functions and rituals carries over from pre-partition India though Pakistani weddings have some unique features on the minute level like some might have separate halls for the men and women or set up a large barrier though many prefer to have gender mixing.
