For me Bollywood peaked in 2016 with Dangal. It’s like a switch went off and they all started making garbage all together. 2006 & 2007 with Akshay’s resurgence as a romantic-comedic star with Katrina in film like Namaste London, Singh is King, Welcome, De Dana Dan etc & 2008-2009 Salman & Aamir’s Wanted, Dabangg & Ghajni truly began a gold few years for Bollywood. So I agree 2006 is the start of this last great decade… ended in 2016. Interestingly Aamir made his comeback in 2005/2006 with Mangal Panday & Rang De Basanti & then ended with 2016’s Dangal. It’s been 6+ years of darkness!

In between the eras , I blame T-series because they started remaking every songs blindly. While, they promised in starting that if they get to know some talented artist they would help those artist in production of there song including marketing. But in reality they took songs and gave to there own regular artist.
