I think power gen mode is important in two respects besides already mentioned. 1) as per my experience children utilize appliances obviously without taking care of the electricity bill, having this function can restrict the financial impact. 2) And secondly working housewife, as she usually works in the kitchen and whenever spare time to be in the AC room, her first option is always to run ac on 16-degree mode

This is a failed Brand with no backup in Pakistan. The agent in Pakistan are clueless about the a/c. I have purchased 3 units and all three units failed in the first year of operation
