What you said about the straps is my problem with all the bags that are like premium travel packs and also why I follow you! I bought 2 premium bags already and found out I cant wear them because the straps are too wide and they cut into my body and are so uncomfortable. Most of these companies make bags for men. I would really love to see a company that is making the same bag just for a woman’s body. I mean with all my love for osprey, and they do have an amazing bag, it’s just not pretty. And I would prefer the look of the pakt one but… shoulder straps….

Womens osprey fairview...took my daughter to five different sporting goods stores to try on travel backpacks...osprey womens fairview fit the best...thinner straps adjustable back straps that can slide up or down where they meet to fit torso better

I have the 35L I loved the capacity. I’m a taller female and you’re right it’s not for small frames. A friend tried it on at 5’3” and it was huge on her. I totally packed this out for a 4 day trip held everything. I hate it’s a pet hair magnet though really attracts Everything. It was designed for bulky travel to me. I didn’t go for the 45L too big but I could have filled it lol

Yeah it's definitely great fro longer term travel if you pack a lot. But agreed materials are not my favorite, but the 35L seems like the better choice!

I do wonder whether the smaller backpack is more suitable for you. I personally went with the 35L variation so that it could also be placed under-the-seat as a personal item when I want to do that. I usually travel with a roller suitcase as well. However, starting to consider one-bag travel, and if I do that, migrating to a larger (45L) might become an option…and then the decision will be to either get a larger Pakt or grab a Tortuga. Personally for me, I think the extra features of the Pakt sway in its favor.

If Pakt made the bag with a more water resistant material and used aqua guard zippers and finally used diff material for the back of the bag, this bag would be a winner. For now I'd prefer the Tortuga or peak design travel backpack.

I really wanted to like this bag but wow the shoulder straps were uncomfortable. Wore it around the house fully packed and it’s a no go for me. So glad I also ordered an Aer TP3 and had something to compare it to side-by-side.

i agree, the materials are scratchy and way too thick for me. The Aer TP3 is definitely one of my favorite travel packs!!

Hi, love this bag for the organization, but, quite concerned about the depth of the bag when filled. There is no way it would then pass the dimension limit for a carry-on.

it just depends on what airline you are traveling with, small budget ones probably not as they are more strict

It’s toooo heavy and too pricy. Screw the features: Amazon has no name backpack very similar and more lightweight for 1/3 or 1/4 of the price!

I love the bag and I'm familiar with the Pakt stuff (have a 5L sling and their bottle) they kinda don't like us Europeans. Of course our market is smaller than the US & Australia, and then import taxes to EU; man, this bag goes from those $350 to 450 for all that and shipping. Sorry but I ain't paying that. I'm a big Bellroy fan and in their case they ship from within the EU because they've invested in a warehouse or distribution center here, so we skip big fees. Much better solution. OK; I understand Pakt aren't as big as Bellroy but it's such a shame I simply can't afford this backpack... Plz don't say "well if you really love it you'll stretch yr wallet...." Nope.

I would buy this, but from the reviews I've seen online, this thing attracts lint and hair just as well as a lint roller. I would wait for version 3 so they address this issue.
