Ya, it is a strong deck in my thoughts. Branded lost is a nice anti-tech. Making matchups against them a little bit rougher. Currently have one build with Ablaz and Illusion.

I like your Branded deck. I play the deck with Fusion Duplication. The good thing about the Fusion Duplication variant is because you know Branded Fusion is going to resolve your not going to need to have that much more gas. This allows me to minimize the amount of monsters needed by not making me play cards like Polymerization and increasing non-engine by picking cards that would allow me to have plenty of gas despite not running that many cards. I use Dramaturge, Quem, Cartesia, and 1 Branded in Red(Which most people know by now can be set by Albion and used next turn.). Cards like D.D. Crow and Effect Veiler can be targets for Branded Fusion if you play them. People can argue leaving Branded Fusion in grave is better because of Tragedy. But Tragedy is normally a 1 of so you'll naturally have more potential value plus counter play to Ash Blossom playing Fusion Duplication anyways. Fusion Duplication is almost better than Cross-Out. Cross-Out is better because it helps you with more cards than Just Ash Blossom. So its really just up to preference.

I am just not sold on Allure. Every time I try it the card feels off. Other than that, you sold me on High Spirits. So many interesting things to do with it I kinda glossed over. Love the deck build!

That video you and jesse made "why you suck at yugioh" was awesome! Not performing as well as you'd of liked too is nothing you should be sad of! Yugioh is a very intense game thats 50% you and 50% luck (i think so anyways) if you have luck on your side all it takes is one mistake that can cost you a game and in an intense environment like that can be mentally draining....but what's important is knowing what you did wrong and acknowledging your misplays and knowing what you can do better next time! Im always reflecting on my duels to learn what i can do better next time! Also trying to play through your opponents 1 card snake eye combos and they have droll nib ash imperm or god knows what is gunna be difficult for any deck....

Crossout designator would not stop the puppet lock, it negates activated effects and effects on the field, this would apply to jowgen/disciple for example but puppet is not an activated effect or an effect on the field.

If you useCrossout before Puppet hits the field and banish your own Puppet, the card should not work as its effects are already negate before it comes out.

Hey Pak, If I could give a small amount of feedback, your deck profiles with the camera angle more than 90 degrees upside down always make me feel super queezy. Could go direct overhead or flip the view and point the cards at camera so i'm not upside down :D Love your content

He is either recording with his camera litterally upside down, or he is rotating the video 180 degrees. Watch this video on your phone and turn it upside down. Look how much more natural that looks.. He should be rotating the cards instead of the video it self.

Imo. Cutting kitt and lost sounds bad on paper but replacing them with more bystials + regained and maybe main/side branded beast PLUS 3 skill drain in the main. Makes your deck less bricky, you have more alternative win cons. More big monsters. Better in simplified game states. Better vs light/dark decks. Branded lost always feels win more

Whats the ruling that allows mirrorjade to out Noir? since MJ says "you can" not "your opponent must". Also MJ says "If this fusion monster leaves the field..." If it was brought back with Sanctifier then it was special summoned not Fusion summoned, correct ? Love the video though and looking forward to hearing more tips and combos from you with branded.

Expurrely noir is unaffected by activated effects. Mirrorjades destruction effect is not considered an activated effect since it occurs at a later point than when the effect is activated.

Since if Sanctifier is reviving it, even though MJ was fusion summoned perviously in the duel, it is still only being special summoned, so cant activate it's end phase effect.

Ratios have improved a lot compared to previous version. (TCG hasn't realized yet that puppet doesn't have to be a maindeck card in branded yet.)

​@@greasycheese8095 ​ correct. But I'm not OCG. In game 2-3 if you go first you can side in the puppet lock if you want, but you would side it out anyway when you go second. If you lose the coinflip, puppet is simply a brick/discard which could have been replace one for one by a card that does interact. And if you win the coinflip, you already have an advantageous position if you get to combo even without puppetlock; so making sure you get to combo is more important than a winmore card. By example in this decklist, I would replace puppet by magnamhut: banishing their I:P when they target it with flamberge, and adds e.g. lubellion to hand for early threat of branded lost protected combo. And going first you can go for alternative lines with branded fusion to make rindblum first and use a bystial to banish mercourier to follow-up with cartesia/white to make the mirrorjade+rest. (I definitely would add 1 branded in white to make more plays when ashed.)

Branded is dead dead without puppet the only thing keeping it relevant. It loses to everything that better decks lose to, so people dont even need to prep for it, puppet is literally the only reason it has results

Short answer: Noir is unaffected by activated effects specifically, but the Mirrorjade destruction in the end phase is detached from the actual activation of the effect, which happens the moment Mirrorjade leaves the field.
